This assessment was designed as a multi-disciplinary planning initiative to identify the Allegheny County, PA (Pittsburgh) juvenile court's information sharing needs and develop strategies for meeting those needs. Specifically, the project was designed to: define common purposes and goals for sharing information; identify general principles applicable to multi-agency information sharing; identify appropriate technology and required training; identify critical information sharing partners; and develop an action plan for achieving information goals that promote offender and system accountability.
