During this time, the number of person offense cases decreased 2 percent, property offense cases decreased 27 percent, drug law violation cases increased 1 percent, and public order offense cases increased 7 percent.

From 1985 through 1997, the number of delinquency cases handled climbed steadily (61 percent), and from 1997 through 2007, the delinquency caseload dropped 11 percent.
